Registration

• For current Society members, the registration fee package, which includes accommodations at the modern and comfortable university guest houses as well as all meals and refreshments, is £350. [Convert]
• For student or military service members of the Cormac McCarthy Society, the package is £338. [Convert]
• The fee for non-members will be £375 [Convert]; non-member students will pay £348. [Convert]
• Conference-only (i.e., non residential) registration is also available at a lower rate, and it includes midday meals and refreshments.

Note: The U.S. or Canadian dollar price, or that of any other currency, is “locked in” against increases in the Sterling exchange rate at the time that full payment is received.

Final deadline for all European conference registrations is 31 May 2009. After this date, residential availability cannot be guaranteed, and surcharges may apply. Also, U.S. and Canadian members should be aware that right now, the exchange rate of Canadian and US Dollars to the British Pound Sterling is about as favorable as it has been in the past several years. Yes, it might get even better. However, if the Dollar weakens, your registration may cost more. Given that these residential rates are a killer bargain already, we strongly urge you to reserve your room and register as early as possible.

Travel

Coventry can be easily reached via car, coach (British for “bus”), or rail from London or Manchester. Overseas attendants should arrange to fly into London (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead, or Luton airports) or Manchester International Airport and make their land arrangements accordingly. Registrants will receive a full package of transportation information once their registration payments have been received.
