We’ll be sending out an email Newsletter supplement to this effect tomorrow but a few folks have asked us if we could extend the deadline for submitting paper proposals for the Berea conference on March 6-9 2013 (see the conference section for more details).

Well, that’s cutting it a bit close for our purposes and slots are filling up quickly but, okay, we all know how cramped things get around this time of year. We’ll allow two more weeks (up until December 14) for paper proposal submissions – though we would very much prefer if anyone who wants to present a paper or form a panel but needs the extra time would at least let us know by next Friday (November 30) that they’ve got something in the works and need a little more time. ¬†Just send an email to info (at) cormacmccarthy dot com and let us know you’re planning to submit a completed precis by December 14 and we’ll try to block out a space for you.

Today is it, brothers and sisters. If you’re still planning to submit a proposal, we must have it (sent to info ¬†{at} cormacmccarthy dot com) by this evening. Tomorrow and the vast unimaginable reaches of time to come are off the Mayan calendar.

We have a very full conference schedule shaping up and a lot of truly excellent presentation ideas on the table already – we will probably add a couple of evening sessions to the program to accommodate everything we’ve got.

We hope to have a preliminary schedule up on this web site before the end of the holidays.
