    Hi everybody,

I’d like to write something on McCarthy and ethics, and I was wondering if any of you guys could suggest me an essay or a book that touches upon the topic. I’m partucularly interested in “The Road” and “No country” since, as far as I can tell, they tend to be more overt about their ethical preoccupations.

    Thanks

Maybe start with Lydia R. Cooper.

The Sarah L. Spurgeon edited essay collection ‘Cormac McCarthy: All the Pretty Horses, No Country for Old Men, The Road.’ is worth looking at. There are at least two essays with ‘ethics’ in the title.
