And as long as I’m asking Wallach questions, what do we know about the Passenger?

“Morgan says that not only has McCarthy been in Spain working on the movie, “The Counselor,” but he has also finished his latest novel, based in New Orleans.

Can anyone of you guys confirm this?

A novel is finished when it is on the shelf of bookstores ready to sell.  The Passenger is not finished.  Perhaps Fred Brown misunderstood me during our phone conversation, but more likely I was not very precise in how I spoke about what McCarthy had been up to recently based primarily upon my reading of a recent interview conducted by Mario Paul Martinez in Spain.  I must have wandered a bit off script.  I have no new information on the status of “the New Orleans” book.

    Wes:

Your post was repeatedly marked as spam. Not sure why that happened, but I restored it.

You might try posting a note somewhere and see if you are going to be permanently affected.  Perhaps it was a phrase in the note. All of this spam protection is a necessary evil, but it sure makes things inconvenient.

Thanks Marty.  This note will serve as my test.  Because I had been having trouble editing posts, I decided to write my original post in WORD and then cut-and-paste it into this space.  Perhaps your spam detector flagged it for that reason?

Thanks Wes! I was afraid of that. And so the waiting goes on…
