Hi;
I have started a book club in Toronto. It is a guys bookclub. We have two things in common; we love to read, and we never ever thought that we would be in a bookclub.
Our first book is “no country for old men”. I am looking to see if there are any one with experience for facillitating a discussion on this book that would like to join us to fully appreciate Cormac’s book.
We are expecting 8-14 members. We will meet in midtown Toronto on November 27th at 7pm. There will be wings and some refreshments. This will have to be pro bono.
Great chance to get a club off to a roaring start.
you can reach me: leesmith(at)start(dot)ca (just trying to avoid spam)
look forward to great discusson
Great idea to leave the women out of it (I sure hope Nell is out there reading this – she’s beautiful when she’s angry).
JVH – you going to be in the vicinity of TO round about then? I mean, free wings….

Guys. Don’t get me in trouble. I am not a sexist. I just wanted to give the guys an outlet where they can get a word in edge wise. The real reason is my wife does not read books and she certainly does not want me hanging out with women.
Till looking for a facilitator. it should be a good story.
How’d that old song go….Late at night while you’re sleeping/ideology comes creeping….
Sorry you didn’t hold it this past weekend. I just got back from four days in TO, and very happy to be out in the sunshine again.
